Super Hero Safety Workshop

The ITM Group and the UF Child Protection Team joins together to provide Super Hero Training; a free body safety workshop for young children.

On September 16, 2018 from (sign-in at 9:30)10:00 to 11:00, a workshop for caregivers and children age seven and younger will be held at The ITM Group by psychologists and licensed professionals who specialize in the prevention of sexual abuse. This wellness and safety workshop will be presented by ITM psychologist Jennifer Sager, Ph.D and well-known children’s author Kandra C. Albury. Ms. Albury will read from her book Don’t You Dare Touch Me There. The information and activities will focus on boundaries and personal body safety for children, with parents or caregivers being an active part of the workshop. All newly trained superheroes between 3-7 years old will receive a drawstring bag.

Please only register your superhero (child) for the event. All hero support (parents/caregivers) do not need a ticket, but will need to remain at the training site and near their child(ren).
