
The Assembling Community and Clinical Stakeholders to Empower and Strengthen Families (ACCESS) Task Force, led by Dr. Adetola Louis-Jacques, will host its first Maternal Health Community Event focused on improving maternal health outcomes and expanding access to care through community-driven solutions.
This free community event will feature:
- Maternal health resources for pregnant and postpartum families
- On-site services provided by the UF Health OB/GYN Mobile Outreach Bus, including access to maternal healthcare services
- Information from local organizations supporting women and families
- Educational mini-sessions focused on maternal and family health
- Information about a new research initiative designed to expand access to enhanced doula services and support workforce development for doulas in North Central Florida
- Free Family-friendly fun featuring face painting, games, raffles, and giveaways
- Free snow cones, pizza, and more!
The UF Health OB/GYN Mobile Outreach Bus has been serving the North Central Florida community for over eight months by providing mobile maternal healthcare services directly to families who need them most.
