Celebrate Women and Girls in Science with us and the UF Physics Department at Depot Park! We’ll be joined by scientists from our McGuire Center along with live caterpillars, real specimens and fun activities all about butterflies and moths!
February 11th was designated by the United Nations in 2015 as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and it has been celebrated annually ever since.
Science Fair for Kids
The University of Florida Physics Department is hosting Science Fair for Kids at Depot Park where UF faculty and students will be doing science demonstrations. We’re excited to bring lepidoptera scientists and neat activities all about butterflies and caterpillars. Look for us at the park!
