This fashion-centric evening will celebrate June and our community with art, entertainment and open self-expression. Come and strut your creative stuff in a high-energy performance followed by audience participation. Come as you are, or in costume, just make sure you “bring it to the runway.” Celebrate the Ghanaian Fashion exhibition with a hands-on fashion collage activity. Dive into this rich cultural heritage and harness your own to create mini collages to take home. Local author Sandra Gail Lambert in conversation with the Silver Linings exhibition will read passages from her book “A Certain Loneliness,” made possible through a partnership with The Lynx Bookstore. Sandra is available to sign books, which are available for purchase in the Harn Museum Store. Join in bracelet beading with TranQuility, and talk with our UF Pride Student Union and Pride Community Center of North Central Florida tabling partners.
The Harn is open until 9 pm every Thursday for Art After Dark. The second Thursday of every month features a special Museum Nights at 6 pm with an exhibition feature, art activities, performances and more.
