Explore making bread from scratch and learn how to work with yeast doughs in this class. Students will also learn to mix doughs with fresh herbs to create different types of formed bread dough’s such as baguette’s, braids and filled breads. Students will learn how to combine ingredients, knead, and rise yeast doughs to create savory breads. This hands-on class provides all the raw ingredients and one-on-one instructions on bread making are covered. Each student will work at his/her own station and work with their own dough. Rising time and working the dough will be discussed. Bread will be baked in class and each student will go home with their baked breads. Aprons are recommended for this class as each student will be working with substantial amounts of flour and a baking sheet is preferred for transportation home.
