Want to be a scientist? Join us for our Citizen Science Sundays for Kids! Middle School-aged kids (accompanied by an adult) will be able to learn in-depth about some WAY COOL SCIENCE here at Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Park!
Citizen Science Sunday for Kids meets the third Sunday of every month from 10 am-11:30 am. Each month focuses on a different subject in our local ecology, from birds and pollinators to plant chemistry and reptiles. The program has an indoor presentation component, outdoor exploratory portion using hands-on field techniques used by real scientists, and a wrap-up portion that might be a game, craft, or meeting an animal. The space is limited, so while the event might be free, we currently require registration on Eventbrite.
