Tioga Town Center Playground Grand Opening

You’ve all been waiting, and it’s finally here! We’re so excited to announce that the Tioga Town Center Playground will officially be opening January 22nd! We’ll have the LifeSouth Community Blood Centers #Bloodmobile from 10am-2pm, and Kona Ice of Greater Gainesville from 2pm-5pm to help us celebrate!
The new Playground is equipped with slides, traditional swings, a shell swing, jungle gyms, a musical cottage, nautical springers, and is fenced for everyone’s safety. All outfitted by Kompan, a global playground company, our designs are influenced by a European approach to play. Our equipment promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development opportunities for children to tweens. We created inclusive layouts that allow children of all abilities to explore self-directed play!
The Tioga Town Center Playground is free and open to the public as of Friday, January 22nd. The playground will be open 7 days a week from dawn until dusk. As always, we asks that all visitors adhere to CDC guidelines, and wear face masks while keeping 6’ away from other visitors.
