Hawthorne Area Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of Hawthorne, Florida, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided, with particular attention and emphasis given to the economic, civic, commercial , cultural, industrial and educational interests of Hawthorne, Florida. These objectives shall be carried out by:

• Promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all classifications of business within Hawthorne, Florida;
• Promoting programs designed to increase the economic, social, and cultural skills of citizens of Hawthorne, Florida;
• Discovering and correcting abuses which prevent the promotion of business expansion and overall community betterment;
• Meeting controversies with a well articulated point of view designed to express economically sound alternatives;
• Promoting all areas of public education.
