Meet Our Administration
Jayme Tate
Owner, Greenfield West Director
Jayme is the owner of Greenfield Preschool and the Director of our West location. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in Family, Youth and Community Sciences and over 15 years’ experience as a child care center director for local preschools. She established Greenfield in June 2016 and has since expanded to three separate locations and aspires to continue growing the Greenfield family. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family!
Stephanie McQuay
Greenfield East Director
Stephanie is the Director of our East Location. She will graduate with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in the Spring of 2025 and currently holds her Associate’s in Elementary Education, Director’s credential, and over 6 years of experience as an early childhood educator. She found a passion for children early on at the ripe age of nineteen and has never let up on her dreams of making an impact in the world of childcare since. Stephanie has been married since December of 2018 and has happily welcomed three beautiful children into the world since then. In her spare time, she enjoys both listening to and playing music, as well as finding something new and crafty to make.
Sara Anderson
School Age Director
Sara is one of our Directors at our West location and the Director of our After-School Program. She graduated with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, Directors Credential, and over 10 years of experience volunteering or working with children of all ages. Being the oldest of 5 she has always been the mothering type and loves to create a strong relationship with every family she works with. Sara has three little ones of her own and has been married since 2013. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors with her family and animals or cooking something delicious.

The staff at Greenfield have been there for our family and have watched my children grow up since the beginning. They feel more like family than a daycare. They have been there for me for advice and support when parenting gets tough. I have listened to other parents complain about other daycares; I feel so fortunate that we found Greenfield and that we have such amazing and caring people that we can trust our babies with!
We’re glad we found Greenfield Preschool for our son. The director and administrators care about the school and are very communicative with us parents. Our son is in his 3rd classroom now and all his teachers have been incredibly caring and kind. They create a stimulating environment that allows our kids to learn, explore and play! We love that they have a dynamic schedule and that we are kept up to date with what we can expect our kids to be doing during the day. We also love that they have an app that they send daily updates and keep us abreast of what’s going on at the school. They make is a very family friendly place and even invite the parents to join their kiddos during class parties. We really like it here, and so does our son!
As a first-time mom I was TERRIFIED to leave my 8-month-old baby with anyone. We started Greenfield the opening day of Greenfield West, and (4) years later my recommendation to any first-time mom or any parents is always Greenfield! They’ve treated us like family since day one and I’ve loved watching my son grow up there. Almost every teacher he’s had since he started there is still there, and I think that speaks volumes of Jayme’s leadership. In our (4) years at Greenfield, my son has learned so much, both academically and emotionally. For that, we are thankful.
Our experience at Greenfield for the past (7) years has been incredible. I met Jayme when I was a first-time mom and she and the staff there made me feel safe and confident leaving my child in their care. They’ve always paid extra special attention to any special instructions I’ve provided for my children over the years. I’ve never had to wonder or doubt if my directions would be followed. Since finding Greenfield in 2016 we have never considered looking elsewhere for our babies.
It’s not often you find a daycare/school that takes the time to get to really know your children. Greenfield has been so personable since day one; three years ago, with our oldest daughter. My daughter’s teacher can pick up on what she wants or needs, simply based on her mood which can be quite sassy. You can tell she loves her teachers and is happy to be there, which as a working parent is very comforting! I would not trust any other school with my girls the way I do with Greenfield.
Our family has been at Greenfield since August 2017 and they have become an extension of our family. Our oldest son now attends their afterschool program, so we have seen all of the classes. Each teacher manages that balance of learning and growing, while allowing the kids to have free play time. Outside time has always been valued and that is important to us. The communication between the teachers, directors and owners have always been prompt, clear and understanding of the circumstances. Throughout the years, Greenfield has remained true to their values and puts children first. We know that whoever is in charge of our children has Ms. Jayme’s stamp of approval, and that is the highest compliment I can give.
My babies love going to Greenfield because of all the fun activities and sweet teachers! The leadership has been so helpful and kind. We are excited about all the activities coming up. We love Greenfield!
I would recommend Greenfield to anyone looking for a Preschool. All the teachers there are amazing and how they’re for the children. Mrs. Jayme gets involved with the kids, which is very rare for an owner to do. I am very thankful to Greenfield Preschool.
My daughter’s kindergarten teacher asked who took care of her at school, when she was told Greenfield, she said those people know what they’re doing, because she is one of the top in my class.
We have wonderful memories from the past few years at Greenfield. The best by far was dropping my son off in the morning and when he walked in all his classmates starting to chant his name. This made us both feel so good.
Being at Greenfield Preschool has been a blessing. We started our son here when he was 6 months old. The teachers are all very conscientious of the students and keep us informed throughout the day. When you go into the school, you will always see the students playing, interacting with each other and adults, as well as using their imaginations and learning.
Greenfield is by far the best school for all ages. The teachers are fantastic, and the pricing is affordable for working parents. The school provides amazing educational experiences and I love the app available to keep in touch with his teacher. She posts pictures of all the fun and new stuff they learn. We are so happy to have such a top-notch preschool here in Newberry!
