About Us

At Premier International School, we welcome children
from all backgrounds to join our non-denominational
Christian environment, emphasizing Biblical values
without strict indoctrination.

As an International School, there is a native Spanish
speaking teacher in every classroom, creating an
immersive bilingual environment. Children will also
learn about the cultures of their fellow students, staff,
and on a global level. Multi-cultural exposure is
paramount in providing children with perspectives
that will prepare them for the real world.

By prioritizing transparency, we partner with parents
to develop comprehensive and realistic plans for each
student’s success.

Premier
Preschool

Founded on August 15th, 2018 by Dr. Suzana Sargent,
Premier Preschool is the educational foundation for Premier
International School and also for your child’s continued
academic success.

Many facilities fail to realize that children have immense
intellectual potential beginning at very early ages. At Premier
Preschool, our in-depth curriculum begins with lesson plans
at just 8 weeks of age.

By creating an engaging, interactive, and enthusiastic
learning environment, Premier Preschool teaches children
realistic life skills, social skills, and emotional intelligence,
preparing them for the heightened demands that they will
inevitably face in Elementary school.

At Premier Preschool, every activity is planned with
intention and purpose and will directly facilitate a smooth
academic transition in your child’s educational career.

Evolving
Education

After just 3 years of Premier Preschool and in
the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr.
Sargent recognized the desperate need for
quality education and academic continuity in
the community and began discussing
opportunities to offer elementary education.

Beginning with a small, combined class of
K-2nd grades, Dr. Sargent moved swiftly to
conquer the hurdles that arose as she worked
towards adding a massive 5,000 sqft addition.

In 2025, after 3 years of red tape, Dr. Sargent
and her team finally broke ground and
Premier International School came to fruition.

Reinforcing
Potential

With the Abeka Book curriculum at the heart of our
elementary academia, our elementary students
receive consistent reinforcement of linear content
across all subjects, including learning both print and
cursive writing.

Building on the writing and letter comprehension
learned in our Pre-K program, every child in
Kindergarten will be deeply immersed in the
wonderful new world that is to be found in Reading.
Most of our Kindergarteners are reading within the
first semester of the school year and our 1st and 2nd
graders have consistently tested at 4th and 5th grade
reading levels.

At Premier, exposure and understanding of early
literacy begins in infancy. Children display the
greatest growth of cognition in their lives between the
ages of 0 and 5.

thing in your life and we work diligently and
intentionally every day to ensure safety,
education, and your peace of mind.

With over 30 cameras installed throughout
campus, video is not publicly available to
ensure your child’s privacy, however,
administration is always happy to meet with
parents to view footage and address any
concerns that may arise.

Staff and administration are available at any
time during the day via the messaging
feature in our Brightwheel App.

Program

Ages: 8 weeks - 5th Grade

At Premier International, we are familiar and comfortable with
the complexities that can arise from sensory discomfort during
child development.

To assist in navigating these hurdles, children are given the
opportunity to partake in hands-on learning with an array of art
mediums to experience and to explore their creative side.

From lesson-related craft projects to learning about color
mixing, children will explore and express their creativity on a
weekly basis.

Soccer

Program

Ages: 3 years - 5th Grade

Our soccer program combines the
excitement of play and exercise,
encouraging life-long healthy activity.
Individual drills coupled with team
activities teach children the importance of
team work and team building. These
activities develop their self-confidence and
trust in themselves and their abilities.

Spanish

Program

Ages: 8 Weeks - 5th Grade

As we age, our brains begin to trim away
unused neuronal pathways, including those
for developing linguistics, making learning a
second language more difficult.

Our Spanish program gives students the
first introduction to a foreign language from
the very start. All students spend their days
with a fluent Spanish speaking staff
member in their classrooms, training their
brains and maintaining these precious
neurological connections.

Music Program

Ages: 8 Weeks - 5th Grade

The Universal Language.

With the talent of skilled professors from the
University of Florida, children will enjoy learning a
variety of instruments, dances, and songs.

These weekly lessons teach children the importance of
the arts as well as early exposure to learning to read
music.

Bible Time*

Ages: 8 Weeks - 5th Grade

Through engaging activities, interactive discussions,
and age-appropriate materials, children learn the
stories of the Bible and also develop a deeper
understanding of its relevance to their lives.
Encouraging curiosity and fostering a love for God's
word lays an important foundation for spiritual
growth, character development, and a lifelong moral
standard.

*As a non-denominational Christian school, children will learn the
characters and stories of the Bible and the ways God helped them in
difficult situations. They will learn values such as the Fruit of the Spirit
and the 10 Commandments. Bible materials will include educational
worksheets, story-telling videos, and coloring sheets. Children also sing
“Thank you, God” before mealtimes.

At Premier International, we accommodate families from all religious
backgrounds.

Dr. Suzana Sargent

Owner & Founder

Dr. Sargent has been in the education field for over 52 years. Born
and raised in Sao Paulo Brazil, she always dreamed of opening her
own facility focusing on raising emotionally stable children,
exposing them to several different ways of learning and instilling
in them strong Christian values.

After graduating from the Tibirica College in Brazil, she traveled to
the U.S. to further her education. She obtained her Master's in
Special Education and her P.h.D in Curriculum Instruction at one
of the United States' leading educational teaching programs,
Michigan State University.

She and her husband, a professor at the University of Florida,
have been married for over 40 years and are proud to have three
daughters who also live and work here locally.

Dr. Sargent has dedicate her life to the education of young
children during the most important stage of their development
and is thrilled to be able to fulfill a life long dream of opening
Premier International School and bringing her passion and
creativity to the education of her community's children.
