Discover the rich diversity of birds (and maybe some rarities!) at north-central Florida's newest birding hotspot in a 2-3-hour walking tour. Birders of all levels welcome.
The bird walk takes place at Sweetwater Wetlands Park, which is located on the south side of Gainesville, 3/4 mile east of the intersection of SW 13th Street/US 441 and Williston Road. Look for the sign on the south side of the road. Those interested will meet at the covered shelter by the parking lot.
Bird walks will continue every Wednesday from September - May, at 8:30 a.m.
Birding Field Trips will be led by volunteers from Alachua Audubon Society.
