Town of Micanopy 4th of July Celebration

Come join in American small-town fun as Micanopy celebrates Independence Day with our traditional parade, music, food, fun and fireworks. Charming shops and eateries will be open for browsing and enjoying the Historic District that keeps folks coming back every year.
8:30 am to 1:00 pm
LIFESouth Blood Drive. Free cholesterol screening with blood donation, and a gift! Location: Near fire station playground.
9:30 am to 1:00 pm (while supplies last)
Fried chicken fingers meals. Sponsored by the Town of Micanopy. Location: Masonic Lodge and Thrasher Warehouse Board, 503 NE Cholokka Blvd. Cost: $10.
11 am 4th of July Parade along NE Cholokka Blvd. (NE 1st St.)
5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Ballpark fun at Carson Robert Sports Complex, NW Eestaulkee (3rd Ave.). Food Trucks, bounce houses, children’s playground, and lots of space to run and play games. Bring sunscreen. Restrooms available.
At Dusk
Fireworks at the Ballpark. Bring oohs and ahhs along with blankets and bug repellent. Food Trucks and restrooms will be available.
No alcohol allowed at events.
