Picking season for 2024 is just around the corner. We are closed again after a high-demand opening and will reopen on Thursday, March 28.
This year is already looking good. We have gone back to using bumblebees for our pollinators — we have traditionally gotten good results with these. Our replanted sections are now a year in and projected to produce well — Arcadias, chickadees, Zelma’s (our private brand), prima donnas, sweet crisps, Windsors, Key crisp, and Kestrels. We will have plants for sale this year. Unfortunately, the oven is out of commission, so as of now, we will not have pound cake this year.
