Welcome To Santa Fe Babe Ruth Baseball

Welcome to Santa Fe Babe Ruth Baseball!

For over 30 years, Santa Fe Babe Ruth has been a tradition of excellence for coaching and training young athletes in the Great American pastime of baseball.  Our League is founded on the core values of promoting Honor, Integrity, Unity and Sportsmanship. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play and enjoy the game of baseball and we work hard every year to provide a safe, fun and competitive league for our 300+ players.  SFBR serves youth ages 4-15 in the Alachua County area in our Spring and Fall seasons.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization.  The Board is incredibly grateful for all of the parents, coaches, scorekeepers, concession volunteers and field crews that put in countless hours making this league what it is today!  Our volunteers go above and beyond for our youth and serve as excellent role models.

If you are new to SFBR, we welcome you!  SFBR is a big family and we are so glad you and your family are a part of it. We hope that you enjoy your time with us!

I am honored to serve the SFBR League and each of its players, parents and coaches as your League President.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to myself or one of the Board Members.  We look forward to an awesome season!

Meet Homer

Meet Homer!

Homer was found floating down the Santa Fe River in October 2021 and was excited to find a great home with the Santa Fe Babe Ruth Baseball League.

He enjoys pop flies to the outfield, a slow roller to third and soaring over the fence.

Homer lives in the Concession stand at Memorial Park where he eats all the hotdogs, hamburgers and pickle pops he can get his hands on.

Homer lost his voice singing "Take me Out to the Ball Game" too much but is always excited to give a high five or hug.
