Micanopy Historical Society Museum
and Archives

This view of the Thrasher Warehouse, home of the

Micanopy Historical Society and its museum, is seen from

Cholokka Blvd.  It shows the museum sign, gate, and the

reconstructed shed/porch, which is used as an office, porch, and entrance to the museum.

One has a good view of the interesting shingle pattern on the west gable of the warehouse, as well as the original

hand-scrolled purlins supporting the roof.
