ABOUT
Hi! My name is Rachel Chastain and I am a former teacher turned tutor! I studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Florida where I graduated with my Masters of Education. I have my teaching certificate in the state of Florida with three endorsements: ESL (English for Speakers of other Languages), Reading, and Special Education. I taught in a classroom setting for five years, where I found my love for intervention and one-on-one teaching. I am qualified to tutor students from age 3 until 3rd grade, with focuses in reading and math intervention.

30 minute session - $25
45 minute session - $30
1 hour session - $40
READING INTERVENTION
My reading intervention services focus on the foundations for your child to become a stronger reader, such as letter sounds, sight words, vocabulary, and comprehension.
MATH INTERVENTION
My math intervention services focus on the areas where your child is showing a need, such as adding or subtracting, geometry, time, or measurement.
ONLINE TUTORING
If you are unable to meet in person, I am available to tutor online as well. I use a video conferencing platform to tutor your child.
