4-H Nature and Animal Summer Camps
June 6-11 (11+ years old) 8am-3pm, $60
Wilderness Survival Camp
This camp will offer outdoor activities that will be helpful for kids interested in hiking/camping. Skills will include fire starting, water purification, finding food in the wild, first aid, building a shelter and more. Campers will put these skills and knowledge to the test by performing survival activities at Poe Springs.
All About Insects (9-12 years old) 9am-4pm, $140
Fascinated by insects and want to learn more? Spend the week learning all about all things insect, including pollinators, aquatic bugs, and gardening to attract beneficial insects. By the end of the week, you'll have a great appreciation for our buggy friends, and come away with everything you need to start your own insect collection and continue your entomology adventures.
July 9-12 Ages 6-8, 9am-3pm, $105
All About Animals
The All About Animals Day Camp is an opportunity for children to learn about animal science and environmental education in a unique way! The camp is divided into four parts: Farm animals, Florida wildlife, marine animals, and pets! This day camp ends with a trip to the Santa Fe Zoo on Friday. Snacks and all entry fees are provided.
July 16-20 ages 9-12, 9am-4pm, $85
Aqua Adventure Camp
Dive in and learn all about local water! Where does our water come from and where does it go? We’ll explore these questions and more while taking time to splash and play in some of our favorite local swimming holes. Learn how you can be a solution to stormwater pollution and a cool conservation cat to help protect our beautiful and important water! This camp is for kids who can swim and like to have fun and learn.
