Master Builder – At Master Builder Camp, campers get to work with their hands to create amazing projects! Campers will use the concepts of design, engineering, construction and art to create from their hearts and use their hands to explore their own ideas! This camp is for kids ages 6-12, with both half-day and full-day options.
Sun Country: Princess and Pirate Dance Specialty Week – Sun Country is offering a special "Princess and Pirate" Dance Camp for boys and girls ages 4-8! Students will spend the week exploring theme-based dance classes, princess & pirate games, and will even get to create their very own treasures, costumes and props! The camp will run Aug. 1-5 from 9 am until 12:30 pm.
Santa Fe College for Kids – At this camp, students will take part in challenging and fun hands-on learning experiences beyond the ordinary school environment. They will even be able to choose which 'classes' they attend, from art and math to science and computer skills! This camp runs for two weeks (July 11-July 21 OR July 25-August 4) and is for students in grades 5-9. Half-day and full-day options are available.
O2BKids LEGO Robotic Lab – O2B Kids offers camps for every age and interest, including a Lego Robotics Lab where campers will use Legos to create actual moving robots! The camp runs July 25-29, 9 am until 12:30 pm, and is for kids ages 6-13.
Magic Mike Summer Camp – Kids can learn from the best at Magic Mike's Magic Summer Camp! At this two-day camp (June 16-17), campers will get magic lessons and will get to take home quality magic props. This camp is open to students in elementary and middle school.
City of Gainesville Junior Lifeguard Camp – This exiting camp for students ages 11-15 is offered several weeks throughout the summer, giving campers a taste of what it means to be a lifeguard! Throughout the course campers will learn a wide range of skills including first-aid, CPR and rescue techniques. Besides learning the primary responsibilities of a lifeguard, this course is packed with fun activities, games and free swim!
Winshape Camp – At this dynamic camp, students will be part of an incredible adventure that combines sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one incredible week. Campers will get to choose how they spend their day from a long list of activities: archery, gymnastics, painting, sewing, football…the list goes on and on. Camp runs July 11-15, and is for campers in grades 1-9!
Trilogy Adventures of the Arts Camp – Campers will get to explore the creative arts at Trilogy, where they can take part in one or all four of the themed weeks.During the first week, campers (ages 4-12) will go on a "Safari" as they learn rhythmic native dances, make animal masks, and hear music on their 'journey' through East Africa! The camp runs from June 20 to July 29, with half-day and full-day options available.
Great Southern Music "Meet the Instruments" Camp – This camp is the perfect introduction for students interested in learning more about musical instruments. Every camper will get the chance to see, hear and play the instruments found in the band and orchestra! This camp is offered both June 13-17 and July 11-15 for students entering grades 3-5.
S-Connection Circus Arts Camp – This camp is truly one-of-a-kind! Kids ages 7 -14 will practice aerial silks, trapeze, lyra, tumble track, hula hoops and juggling. The camp will end with an actual performance for parents! The camp runs June 13-17, with half-day and full-day options available.
MEGA Sports and Arts – At this super exciting camp, students will develop skills of their choice (volleyball, soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, martial arts, acting, dance, cooking and paint/drawing), plus be part of a fun, high-energy group rallies including music, games, prizes and Bible-centered teaching! The best part!? This camp is only $40/child! The camp runs June 20-24 from 8:30 am until noon for kids in grades 1-6.
Solutionary Heroes Camp – Campers ages 7-12 can learn to become a solutionary HERO at the Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens Summer Camp! They learn about awareness of environmental stewardship, compassion for people and animal, and knowledge on planting and growing edible plants. Both morning and afternoon sessions are available.
Yopp Science and Ninja Camp – Yopp is one of the few summer camps that accepts children as young as 4! Several exciting camps are available over the summer, including a 'Science and Ninja Camp' from June 20-24 for campers ages 4-11! You heard right! At this camp, the worlds of science and ninja will come together, giving each child the chance to imagine, explore and create in a lively and engaging experience.
Millhopper Montessori Culinary Camp – Millhopper Montessori is offering tons of camps this summer, including a culinary camp! Little Chefs camps runs July 5-8 for kids ages 2-4. At Little Chefs, the kids will learn about peeling, slicing and mixing as they create their own edible wonders! Culinary Kids also runs July 5-8 and is for campers in grades 1-3. Campers will learn how to make and cook a variety of dishes in the oven and on the stove!
Florida Museum of Natural History – Each week of summer, the Florida Museum will offer a unique an exciting themed camp! At 'Rowdy Reptiles' (June 27-July 1) campers will study snakes, lizards, turtles and crocodilians. At 'Botany Gone Bad' (July 11-15) campers will play "Plants vs. Zombies" and visit the new Wicked Plants exhibit to find out just how creepy plants can be! At 'Cave of Wonders' (Aug. 1-5) campers will crawl into the belly of the earth to uncover cave secrets and strange animals that live in the dark. There are camps for students from grades 1-8, with half-day and full-day options.
Kids Sports and Fitness Camp – This camp fits all schedules and is FUN! Campers will get the chance to participate in any and every sport-related activity, including archery, basketball, flag football, indoor hockey, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, gaga ball, swimming and capture-the-flag! This is an action-packed summer camp, perfect for kids in grades 3-8. There are half-day and full-day options, along with extended care, weekly and pay-by-the-day options!
STEAM Youth Academy – At this four-week summer program, campers (ages 8-14) will learn basic design and programming skills in a fun, hands-on environment. Each day is split up with sessions dedicated to coding/technology and fitness programming, plus one hour of art/design.
Plant Camp – At this unique and exciting camp, campers will learning about sowing seeds, growing plants and taking cuttings! They'll even be able to name and ID different types of plants and bushes! Two weeks are available: June 13 - July 1 OR July 11-29. Kids in grades 1-6 will attend from 9 am until noon, and kids in grades 7-12 will attend from 1-4 pm.
We the People Pop Up Theater Camp – Located in Micanopy, this two-week theater retreat is perfect for both aspiring and experienced actors between the ages of 10 and 18. The campers will learn to collaborate and support one another as they create an outstanding product! This camp is situated on a beautiful five-acre property with rolling hills, a natural stone swimming pool and a dance and yoga studio.
Artisan Education Code Camp – This camp is perfect for campers (ages 9-14) who want to learn a more advanced approach to computer programing. Students will learn to design real-life animations and games! This camp runs June 27-July 1 from 1:30-5 pm.
Capoeira Academy Camp – Kids as young as 4 up to 15 years of age can learn about the art of capoeira at the Capoeira Academy of Gainesville Summer Camp! In addition, campers will learn Afro-Brazilian dance, take Portuguese language classes, play games, learn self-defense, participate in parties and more! There are morning, afternoon AND all-day sessions available.
Engineering for Kids Minecraft EDU: Traveling into the Future - Through application of engineering principles, students will solve numerous challenges as they make their virtual world of Minecraft a safe place for humanity once again! They'll have to build a rocket, escape from a bunker and more!
Florida Fencing Academy Camp – Kids of all school-aged children, no matter their experience/ability, can participate in this exiting Fencing Camp! While the developmental exercises will create agility, coordination and discipline, the campers will also be able to relax and cut loose during the fun game breaks. This camp is offered throughout the summer, so it's perfect for all schedules!
Camp Montgomery: Camp Wild Water – At this exciting overnight camp, campers will go canoeing, take an airboat trip down the ST. John's River, tube down Ginnie Springs and more! Students will learn to live a life for God…and get SOAKED doing it! This camp is for students entering grades 4-6, and it runs June 27-July 1.
Synchro Gainesville Mermaid Camp – Girls ages 7-14 can learn how to swim like a mermaid at this introduction to synchro camp! Swimmers will learn the basics of synchronized swimming, meet local synchronized swimmers and even get to see some of them perform. The camp is held on six Saturday's throughout the summer.
